Suzuki's New Swift Hybrid Debuts In UK And Ireland With Top Features

The all-new fourth-generation Swift Hybrid has been available in the UK and Republic of Ireland since April 2024. This model features enhanced exterior and interior designs, a higher standard equipment specification, improved performance, lower CO2 emissions, and better fuel economy. The Swift offers class-leading combined fuel consumption at 64.2 mpg for models with manual transmission.

Customers can choose from manual transmission as standard, with CVT and Allgrip ‘Auto’ 4x4 derivatives available optionally. Suzuki is offering up to seven years of warranty free of charge after the manufacturer warranty expires and until the car reaches 100,000 miles, subject to terms and conditions.

The new Swift Hybrid model has already seen over 2,000 customer orders since its launch last month. Suzuki’s range of cars continues to be popular due to their low cost of ownership and comprehensive technology features. Suzuki is offering 0% PCP finance on the Swift Hybrid range until the end of June 2024.

For example, the Motion model with CVT transmission is priced at £19,949. A deposit of £4,179 is required, followed by 24 monthly payments of £159 per month. An optional final payment of £11,954 allows customers to keep the car at the end of the agreement. These PCP agreements are based on 8,000 miles per annum.

When purchasing a new car, residual value is a crucial consideration. The new Swift Motion with CVT has been forecasted with a strong residual value of 52% by industry specialists CAP HPI. This equates to a retained value of £10,200 after four years and 40,000 miles.

Alternatively, the Swift Motion with manual transmission retains a value of 49%, or £8,975 over the same period. These figures highlight the strong resale value of Suzuki’s latest model.

Extended Warranty Benefits

Suzuki offers up to seven years of warranty free of charge once the standard manufacturer warranty period ends. This extended warranty is available if the car is booked for its next scheduled service within the Suzuki Dealer network.

The warranty remains in place until the next qualifying service and can be renewed up to a maximum vehicle age of seven years or 100,000 miles. This extended warranty covers major components and can be transferred to subsequent owners if sold within the qualifying period.

Additionally, this warranty can be applied to a qualifying Suzuki purchased privately or with a gap in its dealer service history, provided it undergoes a Suzuki Vehicle Health Check.
