New Nissan Magnite Facelift Vs Old Magnite: Top 5 Changes You Need To Know
The 2024 Nissan Magnite has been introduced with a refreshed interior colour scheme. For four years, Nissan's primary offering in India has been the Magnite, despite the introduction of the X-Trail. The facelift aims to enhance its appeal both domestically and internationally. Let's the updates made to this model.
Exterior Updates
The exterior of the Magnite now features a bold grille with piano black and chrome accents. The front bumper has a more aggressive look, and the fog lamps have been repositioned. However, the LED headlamps and daytime running lights remain unchanged. The side profile retains its silhouette but now boasts new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, only minor changes have been made to the LED tail lamps.

Interior Enhancements
Inside, while the dashboard layout remains consistent with previous models, there is a fresh colour scheme called Sunset Orange. Additionally, a leatherette finish is now available, adding a touch of luxury to the cabin.
Feature Additions
The facelifted Magnite continues with its existing touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, the 7-inch driver's display now features updated graphics that can be customised. New additions include a wireless phone charger, ambient lighting in multiple colours, and automatic climate control.

Variant Lineup Changes
Nissan has revamped the variant names for the Magnite. The sub-compact SUV will now be available in Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+. Previously, variants were named XE, XL, XV, XV Premium, along with an SV Kuro Edition.
Safety Improvements
Safety has been enhanced with six airbags now standard across all variants of the Magnite. A new frameless auto-dimming IRVM is also included. Additional safety features comprise a 360-degree parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, hill hold assist, and TPMS.

Nissan's commitment to improving the Magnite reflects its strategy to strengthen its presence in India while appealing to global markets. With these updates in design and features, Nissan aims to maintain its competitive edge in the sub-compact SUV segment.
