Introducing The New MINI John Cooper Works Models: Performance Meets Individual Style
The latest MINI John Cooper Works models deliver thrilling performance with unique style. These cars promise exceptional driving pleasure, featuring agile handling, 228 hp, and motorsport-inspired technology. The new MINI John Cooper Works 2 Door and Convertible mark a significant renewal in the brand's 65-year history, continuing the legacy of racing legend John Cooper.
A powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine powers these models, producing 170 kW/228 hp and 380 Nm/280 ft-lb of torque. This is an increase from the previous generation's 235 ft-lb. The MINI John Cooper Works 2 Door accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds, while the Convertible takes 6.2 seconds.
The MINI John Cooper Works 2 Door reaches a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), with the Convertible slightly lower at 245 km/h (152 mph). A sporty dual-clutch automatic transmission allows for quick gear shifts, enhancing dynamic acceleration. Paddle shifters on the steering wheel further emphasize the motorsport character of these models.
The suspension settings provide a genuine go-kart feeling with agile handling. The brake system features Chili Red calipers and JCW logos, ensuring precise braking even in challenging situations. The design includes a large octagonal front grille in high-gloss black with the John Cooper Works logo and wide air vents for optimal engine cooling.
Additional air inlets with vertical red reflectors improve aerodynamics. Optional bonnet stripes and LED headlights add to the sporty appearance. At the rear, an aerodynamically shaped spoiler and black diffuser enhance its spirited character, complemented by exclusive rim designs.
The interior follows a purist design with a classic red-and-black JCW color scheme. Sports seats offer firm support during dynamic driving, upholstered in black synthetic leather with multicolored fabric accents. The JCW sports steering wheel provides precise control, while a knitted dashboard surface reflects MINI's racing history.
Advanced Technology and Assistance Systems
An exclusive Harman Kardon sound system enhances the driving experience. The cockpit features a high-resolution OLED display and typical MINI toggle bar. A new central instrument provides relevant information through touch or voice control, creating space for wireless smartphone charging.
The Go-Kart mode tailors the cockpit ambiance to performance flair, displaying speed and other data like torque and g-force. Advanced assistance systems support drivers in various traffic situations using ultrasonic sensors and surround view cameras for independent maneuvers.

Automatic speed control aids urban driving, while Driving Assistant Plus helps with steering at higher speeds. The redesigned MINI Navigation offers easier orientation through 3D visualization and Augmented Reality, showing traffic conditions on virtual maps.
