New Maruti Suzuki Dzire Teaser Leaked In Light Of Upcoming Launch! Find Out More Here

The first teaser of the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been leaked, sparking interest and curiosity amongst the automobile fraternity. The test mule of the new Maruti Dzire has been seen on public roads quite a few times with the standard camo wrap.

Exterior Design

As compared to the current Swift Dzire, the new Dzire comes with a host of differences including design, and stands apart from the new Maruti Suzuki Swift. The entire front of the car has been redesigned and now we see sharper and more sophisticated headlamps. On top of that, the grille is larger and features horizontal strips, which complement the new front bumper as well.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire Teaser Leaked

Seeing these changes comes as quite a surprise as the new-gen Dzire follows the same Heartec platform as the Swift hatchback. Typically, vehicles following the same platform come with a similar design or similar design cues, however, with this, that is not seen.

Another new element we see are the fresh alloy wheels, enhancing the whole sporty element of the compact sedan. Moving to the rear-end of the 2024 Dzire, we see LED tail lights that wrap around either end of the car and a larger boot with the same sharp end that we saw on the previous models.

Interior Upgrades

Stepping inside the cabin of the car, the first new feature we see is the sunroof which is a huge improvement from the previous gen. While complete interior details haven't been revealed yet, we can expect a few similar styling cues to the new Swift with a different shade of upholstery. On top of that, we can expect to see a larger infotainment system and other basic features such as climate control along with others.

Powertrain

Coming to the engine and powertrain, the new Dzire will most likely carry forward the same 1.2-litre petrol engine from the new Swift. In terms of power, this 3-cylinder engine produces 82hp and 112Nm of torque.

In CNG, the power figures obviously see a drop, coming in at 69.75hp and 101Nm of torque. If the CNG option is opted for, only a manual gearbox will be provided. However, with the petrol, an AMT or MT option will be available.
