Honda Amaze VX Variant Bags 60% Bookings: Test Drives To Start From December 16
The latest Honda Amaze, in its third generation, was introduced earlier this month. It starts at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). Honda dealerships are preparing for showroom displays and test drives, which will begin shortly. Bookings have already started, with the top-spec Amaze ZX variant capturing around 60% of the reservations.
Honda Amaze Features and Pricing
The Amaze ZX is priced at Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and boasts several features. It includes a camera-based ADAS setup, a first in its segment, along with 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels exclusive to this model. Other features include LED projector headlamps, push start/stop via button and remote start for the CVT version, automatic climate control, wireless charging, rear AC vents, rearview and lane-watch cameras, auto headlamps, and wipers.
Comparison with Competitors
Despite its impressive feature list, the Amaze lacks a sunroof and a 360-degree camera—features available on the Dzire ZXI+, its main competitor. The Dzire's top variant is priced lower at Rs 10.14 lakh compared to the Amaze's top model. However, Honda offers an optional seat cover accessory that adds seat ventilation and massage functions for an additional cost.
Booking and Delivery Details
Customer test drives for the new Amaze are scheduled to commence on December 16. Deliveries are expected to start by late December 2024. The absence of certain features like a sunroof hasn't deterred interest in the Amaze ZX variant due to its well-rounded offerings.
Honda dealers are gearing up for these events as they anticipate strong customer interest in the new model. The combination of advanced features and competitive pricing makes the Honda Amaze an attractive option in its segment.
