New-Gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire TVC Teaser Featuring Sidharth Malhotra Out – 360 Degree Camera Confirmed
Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the 4th generation Dzire sedan on 11th November. The company has already opened bookings for the model for a token amount of Rs 11,000.
Now, Maruti Suzuki has released a teaser for the TVC of the upcoming new-gen Dzire sedan featuring Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra to attract the attention of potential customers.
While the teaser reveals highlights of the new-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire to a minimum, some details can be extracted. Some of these details include the use of light-coloured materials on the interior and the inclusion of a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
With this, we can expect the new-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire sedan to be a lot more feature-rich than the outgoing model. Also, the inclusion of the 360-degree surround-view camera will make the new-gen Dzire the first model in its segment to feature this tech.
In terms of design, the new-gen Dzire sedan looks a lot more upmarket and well-proportioned than the outgoing model. That being said, many people compare the design execution of the new-gen Dzire with the outgoing Honda Amaze sedan.
On the inside, we expect the new-gen Dzire to have a similar interior layout as the newly launched Swift. Some of the expected features include ventilated seats, rear AC vents, sunshades for rear passengers, a semi-digital instrument cluster, an electric sunroof, and more.
In terms of powertrain, the new-gen Dzire will feature the same 3-cylinder, 1.2-litre petrol engine as the Swift. This engine puts out 81bhp and 111.7Nm of torque. In terms of gearbox options, buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT transmission.
In addition to these powertrain configurations, we also expect Maruti Suzuki to roll out a CNG variant of the Dzire shortly after its launch. However, the CNG variant of the Dzire is likely to be offered only with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Although Maruti Suzuki is yet to officially reveal the price of the upcoming new-gen Dzire sedan, we expect the model to be priced between Rs 6.80 lakh and Rs 10.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
