The new-gen Honda Amaze is making waves with its first-in-segment ADAS tech, enhanced styling, and a plethora of new features. Priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 10.90 lakh (Ex-showroom), it competes with sub-4m sedans like the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor. Under the bonnet, the new Honda Amaze retains its 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder SOHC petrol engine, delivering 90PS and 110Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. The fuel efficiency stands at an impressive 18.65 km/l for the manual and 19.46 km/l for the CVT option.
'V' Trim Features
The base V variant of the Honda Amaze is well-equipped to compete with rivals like Maruti Dzire and Hyundai Aura. It boasts LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, a shark fin antenna, and body-coloured ORVMs with integrated LED turn indicators. The V variant rides on R14 steel wheels with trim covers.
Inside, the base V variant offers an 8-inch advanced HD touchscreen display audio system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It includes Bluetooth, USB port, a 4-speaker premium surround sound system, and steering-mounted controls. The instrument panel features a digital-analogue unit with a 7-inch HD full-colour TFT MID.
'VX' Trim Features
The VX trim includes LED projector fog lamps, R15 premium silver alloy wheels, and an aluminized headlamp inner lens cover. It also comes with front and rear mudguards. Technological upgrades include Alexa remote capability, smartwatch connectivity, and next-gen Honda Connect with Telematics Control Unit (TCU).
Additional highlights in the VX trim are one push start/stop button, touch sensor-based smart keyless access, remote engine start (CVT only), power-folding ORVMs, fully automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and a wireless smartphone charger.
'ZX' Trim Features
The ZX variant stands as the flagship trim featuring an exclusive ADAS package known as Honda Sensing suite. This suite includes adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking system, lane keeping assist system (LKAS), lead car departure notification system, road departure mitigation system, and auto high beam. Exterior enhancements include chrome finish on door handles, gloss black front grille, and R15 dual-tone diamond cut alloy wheels.
Safety Tech
Safety across all variants is robust with six airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, brake assist and override systems. Additional safety features include vehicle stability assist with electronic stability control and traction control along with hill start assist.
Colour Options
The new Honda Amaze offers three trims: V, VX and ZX along with six colour options: Lunar Silver Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic among others. These colours are available across all variants ensuring uniformity in choice for buyers.
