It has achieved a monthly run-rate of INR 1.5 lakh, facilitating 800 rides per month with minimal marketing expenditure. The company aims to scale by increasing its fleet size and vehicle efficiency to penetrate large societies and apartment complexes for office and school rides.

Focus on Sustainable Mobility Solutions

MyPickup is a subscription-based electric auto-rickshaw service provider committed to zero cancellations and zero surge pricing. The company's mission extends beyond convenience, addressing urban congestion and pollution challenges in major cities. By offering reliable and environmentally conscious transportation alternatives, MyPickup aims to create a cleaner, more efficient urban transport ecosystem.

The funds raised will be used for developing scheduling algorithms, brand building, and optimizing operations management. MyPickup plans to expand its services to include on-demand rides using fleet operators and other vehicle classes. The company also intends to maintain better control over drivers and vehicles through robust SOPs and training programs.

Addressing Urban Challenges

Ankur Mittal, Co-Founder of Inflection Point Ventures, stated, "Urban cities in India share challenges like pollution, high commuting costs, frequent cancellations, and expensive transportation for school children. Recognizing these issues, MyPickup offers solutions with real-time tracking for parents, EV vehicles to combat pollution, and zero-cancellation and zero-surge pricing policies."

Mittal added that MyPickup plans to develop an automated matching algorithm, install safety features like cameras and SOS systems, offer on-demand services through ONDC platforms, and release an exclusive app for drivers. These initiatives aim to build trust and position MyPickup as a promising startup addressing urban problems.

Leadership with Vision

Abhijeet Dattatraya Jagtap is the Founder & CEO of MyPickup. An MBA graduate from IIM Calcutta, Jagtap has had a distinguished career in sales, P&L management, and marketing across prominent organizations such as Pharmeasy, Flipkart, and Bosch.

Jagtap commented on the company's mission: "As city-dwellers in India face mounting stress from congestion and pollution, MyPickup is dedicated to alleviating these challenges. By offering shared, reliable electric commute solutions for officegoers and school children, we are committed to scaling our impact in reducing urban congestion and emissions."

Market Potential

The Indian commute market for school and office segments stands at $7.7 billion currently. It is projected to grow at a robust rate of 13% year-over-year. Assuming this consistent growth continues, the market size could reach approximately $14 billion. With its focus on sustainable mobility solutions, My Pickup is strategically positioned to capitalize on these trends by offering innovative services that meet the evolving demands of this dynamic market.

MyPickup's strengths lie in its ability to redefine urban transportation with reliable alternatives that are environmentally friendly. At scale, it expects to cater to various use cases while retaining better control over drivers through robust SOPs.

This investment marks a significant milestone for MyPickup as it continues its journey towards creating sustainable urban mobility solutions that improve daily commutes while contributing positively to the environment.
