Mopar is set to make a significant impact at the 2024 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas from November 5 to November 8. The event will feature new concept vehicles showcasing diverse appearance and performance modifications. "Our new Mopar concept vehicles showcase different ends of the performance spectrum, bringing innovative design and engineering expertise with a zero-emissions muscle car concept and the latest ideas for the Ram Sport truck lineup," said Mike Koval Jr., head of Mopar North America.

The Plymouth GTX Electromod Concept offers a glimpse into the future of battery-electric vehicle conversions. This concept features a potential Mopar e-Crate propulsion system, allowing enthusiasts to convert classic and modern cars into electric vehicles. The striking Frostbite Blue exterior, combined with a lowered stance, gives this zero-emission muscle car its unique appeal.

The GTX Electromod Concept boasts widened rear-wheel openings for a modern look. It includes custom-shaved, body-color bumpers that are tucked in and trimmed to the fenders. The exterior trim is painted Satin Black, maintaining a sleek appearance. A custom carbon-fiber hood with dual functional air extractors adds to its distinctiveness.

Underneath the carbon-fiber hood lies a scalable 400-volt, 250-kilowatt electric drive module (EDM). This EDM is mounted using custom-designed isolated motor mounts made from 6061 aluminum alloy. The integrated dual-charging module (IDCM) sits atop the EDM, styled to pay homage to the Hellcat supercharger.

The interior of the Plymouth GTX Electromod has been reimagined with numerous custom touches. A unique driver interface system features custom gauges housed in a specially designed cluster bezel. The original steering wheel has been replaced with a modern leather-wrapped version finished in Vintage Bronze.

The Ram 2500 Power Wagon Concept builds on an already capable off-road pickup with various Mopar and custom accessories. Its bold Satin Stealth Sand exterior is complemented by bright Header Orange accents, including tow hooks. The truck rides on 20-by-10-inch wheels with 35-inch Goodyear tires.

A Mopar sport performance hood covers the powerful 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine, enhancing its muscular look. Above the cabin, an aluminum platform holds extra gear securely, while three TYRI LED lights provide additional lighting. An active cargo-rack storage system adds valuable storage without sacrificing bed space.

Interior Enhancements in Ram Concepts

Inside the Ram 2500 Power Wagon Concept, custom-designed seats feature premium Katzkin leather with contrasting stitching. An instrument panel accessory rail holds mobile devices securely in place. Floors are protected by all-weather mats, and stainless-steel pedal covers add style to the driver's footwell.

The Moparized Ram 1500 RHO debuts high-impact exterior graphics and massive tires for an aggressive stance. Inside, Nappa leather-wrapped seats feature blue accents and suede inner bolsters. An all-new Hurricane H/O SST engine under the hood delivers impressive power while being lighter than previous models.

Dodge and Direct Connection at SEMA

Dodge will present various crate engines and products from Direct Connection at SEMA. Attendees can see Morgan Evans' Dodge D150 powered by a HurriCrate Cat 3 engine and test their reaction times on Dodge Demon drag race simulators. A new Dodge E-Bike inspired by heritage styling will also debut.

Mopar's display at SEMA will include several highlights such as a "Power-Couple" themed exhibit featuring matching metallic blue vehicles and customized Jeep concepts first seen at Moab's Easter Jeep Safari. These concepts include innovative designs like pivoting lightbars for enhanced visibility around vehicles.

Mopar continues to evolve since its inception in 1937 as a line of antifreeze products. Today, it represents genuine parts and authentic accessories for Stellantis vehicles worldwide. Known for its performance parts during the muscle-car era, Mopar now integrates service operations globally to enhance customer support.
