Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures, and power consumption were measured using methods required by Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, NEDC figures consider differences in wheel and tyre size selection, while WLTP figures account for optional equipment effects.

For vehicles newly type-approved since January 1st, 2021, official specifications exist only according to WLTP. According to EU Regulation 2022/195, NEDC values will no longer be included in EC certificates of conformity as of January 1st, 2023. All figures have been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle.

NEDC figures listed have been adjusted where applicable. WLTP values are used for assessing taxes and other vehicle-related duties based on CO2 emissions and vehicle-specific subsidies where applicable.

Further information on WLTP and NEDC measurement procedures is available at www.bmw.de/wltp. For details on official fuel consumption figures and specific CO2 emissions of new cars, refer to "Manual on fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and power consumption of new cars" available free at sales outlets from Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT), Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen or www.dat.de/co2/.
