MINI To Celebrate 65 Years With Electric Showcase At Goodwood Revival 2024
MINI UK will mark its 65th anniversary at the Goodwood Revival 2024. The event, scheduled from 6th to 8th September 2024, will feature a brand space themed around the swinging sixties and showcase the all-new MINI Aceman. This fully electric vehicle, announced earlier this year, bridges the gap between the MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman with its bold design and crossover proportions.
The MINI Aceman will be displayed at 'Issi’s Laundrette', a sixties-inspired area celebrating MINI's heritage and future. Located at the Earls Court Motor Show, visitors can experience the iconic circular OLED infotainment display through interactive washing machine windows. The laundrette theme extends to a 'Bubble Shop' offering sweets and sparkling beverages, with half of all proceeds going to CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
For those looking for souvenirs, 'Issi’s Laundrette' offers an 'Edge Press' ironing station where visitors can get MINI-themed iron-on transfers. Additionally, 'Spin and Win' washing machines will surprise guests with various MINI goodies and prizes. The laundrette also features hanging washing made from new knitted material that replaces leather in the new MINI family.
The fully electric MINI Aceman combines a compact silhouette with a streamlined interior and state-of-the-art circular OLED display. It offers a single range charge of up to 252 miles* and is set to launch on UK roads later this year. This model adds style and versatility to everyday driving while sitting comfortably between the MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman in the new family lineup.
