MINI Celebrates 65th Anniversary With Launch Of Electric Countryman SE ALL4 In The US
The next milestone in MINI’s electrification journey has arrived in the U.S. as the brand celebrates over six decades of innovation. MINI USA introduces the all-electric MINI Countryman SE ALL4, marking 65 years since the first MINI Mark I was produced in 1959. This new model represents a significant step in MINI’s commitment to an electric future.
MINI's latest addition, the Countryman SE ALL4, is an all-electric version of their first SUV. It features an intelligent all-wheel drive system and advanced driving assistance functions, including partially automated Level 2 driving. The vehicle offers an electric range of up to 212 miles and maintains MINI’s signature go-kart feeling with its modern, minimalistic design.
Equipped with two powerful electric motors, the MINI Countryman SE ALL4 delivers a total output of 308 hp and 364 lb.-ft. of torque. This allows it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds. Fast charging capabilities enable the battery to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in under 30 minutes using DC at up to 130 kW.
The vehicle also includes a round OLED display that controls both infotainment and assistance systems through the new MINI Operating System 9. This system allows for intuitive operation via touch or voice assistant, enhancing the overall driving experience.
The arrival of the MINI Countryman SE ALL4 coincides with MINI’s 65th anniversary and the third iteration of MINI Wave to Friends Day (WTF Day). These events highlight MINI’s dedication to reducing emissions while fostering a strong community spirit, further emphasized by the recent completion of the owner rally, MINI TAKES THE STATES 2024.
Two style packages are available for this model, each offering unique exterior and interior features that accentuate different aspects of the vehicle. Additionally, a new Vibrant Silver shade has been introduced for the contrasting roofs characteristic of MINI vehicles.
Availability and Pricing
The MINI Countryman SE ALL4 made its North American debut last September during Climate Week NYC and will be available at dealerships nationwide this September. The starting price is $45,200 MSRP with an additional $995 destination and handling fee.
