Milltek Sport Reveals Innovative Exhaust Systems For Iconic Cars At Goodwood Festival 2024
Milltek Sport is set to return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2024, showcasing several new products. The company will debut a prototype premium performance exhaust system and a redesigned rear valance for the newly launched Mini Cooper S. This marks nearly two decades of Milltek Sport's participation in this iconic event.
Visitors can expect to see the first showing of Milltek Sport’s upcoming range of accessories for the classic Land Rover Defender. These accessories include additional lighting, mirrors, bumpers, and underbody protection. All items are designed to complement Milltek Sport's enhanced exhaust systems for the Defender, ensuring durability and improved aesthetics.
The renowned exhaust manufacturer will also enhance its specialised Titanium range with enthusiast-focused components for the Porsche 991 GT3 RS. A striking, free-flowing crossover pipe will be presented as part of this range. Additionally, Milltek Sport's distinctive M3 Touring will be showcased, highlighting their increased emphasis on G-Series BMW models.
For the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Milltek Sport will sell directly to the public from its stand. Visitors can place orders and receive products quickly. The company will also retail bespoke merchandise such as T-shirts, hoodies, and caps.
Steve Pound, Managing Director of Milltek Sport, stated: "The Festival of Speed has been the highlight of our show calendar for nearly two decades, and each year we return with a bigger and better presence that epitomises our expertise, the size of our performance exhaust offering and our expanding international operation." He added that visitors would get an exclusive insight into their latest products.
Two partners of Milltek Sport – Urban Automotive and Vossen Wheels – will also feature on their stand. Urban Automotive will showcase its bespoke Range Rover L460, Land Rover Defender 110, and Lamborghini Urus demonstration vehicles equipped with Milltek Sport systems.
New Products for Mini Cooper S
The new Mini Cooper S was launched only weeks ago, but Milltek Sport has already explored its tuning potential. The factory tailpipe exits out of sight in this latest generation version. To address this, Milltek Sport has introduced an enhanced stainless steel cat-back system with a remodeled rear valance. This design makes the twin tailpipes visible in a centre-exit style reminiscent of the original R53 Mini Cooper S.
Founded in 1983 by a car enthusiast in the UK, Milltek Sport has grown into a global leader in performance exhaust systems. With headquarters in Derby, UK; a development centre near Germany’s Nürburgring race circuit; and a facility in Tennessee, USA; they design and test their products using state-of-the-art equipment.
Milltek Sport caters to both modern performance vehicles and classic cars from the ‘80s to ‘00s with their OEM+ range. Their commitment to quality ensures that all products meet high standards while enhancing vehicle performance.
This year's Goodwood Festival promises exciting developments from Milltek Sport as they continue to innovate within the automotive industry. Their long-standing presence at this event highlights their dedication to showcasing cutting-edge technology and engaging directly with enthusiasts.
