MG Motor Unveils MG4 Electric In The Middle East, Priced From INR 21.9 Lakhs
MG Motor Middle East has introduced the MG4 Electric, a new electric vehicle aimed at enhancing sustainability and expanding its regional lineup. Priced from INR 21.9 Lakhs or USD 26,150, this model promises to revolutionise EV ownership in the Middle East with its cutting-edge technology, remarkable performance, and affordability.
The MG4 Electric is built on the brand's 100% Electric Modular Scalable Platform, which combines agility and energy efficiency. The design concept, "Energetic Agile," merges modern elements with advanced technology to create a dynamic and stylish impression. This platform ensures that the MG4 Electric is both practical and intelligent for today's drivers.
MG4 Electric Variants
Three versions of the MG4 Electric will be available in the Middle East: COM, LUX, and XPOWER. The COM model features a 51 kWh battery offering up to 465 km WLTP range. The LUX variant extends this range to 530 km WLTP with a 64 kWh battery. The top-tier XPOWER version covers up to 400 km WLTP, catering to diverse customer needs.
Inside, the MG4 Electric boasts a minimalist cabin with a floating console integrating advanced technology. The interior design focuses on simplicity and ease of use, featuring high-tech elements like a wireless phone charger and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. This "Less is More" philosophy creates an open and pure cabin space for an enhanced driving experience.
Performance and Safety Features
The vehicle's high-performance rear-wheel drive system ensures stable acceleration and improved traction for superior cornering. Multiple driving modes—Standard, Sport, Custom, Snow, and Eco—allow drivers to customise their experience according to road conditions and personal preferences.
Safety is paramount in the MG4 Electric, equipped with features like DP EPS Electronic Steering System, One Box Brake System, and Zero Thermal Runaway Battery Protection. Its high-strength body combined with the advanced MG Pilot System maximises occupant safety. Rigorous testing included ten continuous mechanical impacts in each direction to ensure crash safety and over 70,000 cycles for electric switch durability.
Design Elements
The exterior of the MG4 Electric includes sophisticated design features such as a carbon fibre effect diffuser and "Twin Aero" rear spoiler. High-tech U-shaped headlights enhance both aesthetics and performance. Available in various vibrant colours, including an exclusive green for the XPOWER version, the vehicle stands out visually.

The MG Pilot system uses multiple cameras and radars to monitor surroundings actively.
