Merrell And Jeep Launch New Moab Speed 2 Hiking Shoes For Outdoor Enthusiasts
Merrell and Jeep have teamed up again to introduce a new line of hiking footwear. This collaboration highlights Merrell's Moab Speed 2 and Jeep's electrified Wrangler 4xe. The partnership builds on their successful 2023 venture, focusing on innovative technologies for hiking and off-road adventures. These products are designed for explorers and early adopters, reflecting both brands' commitment to sustainability.
The Moab Speed 2 shoes will be available from November 12 in the US and Canada, priced at $180 and CA $190 respectively. They come in four colours inspired by Jeep's popular paint options: High Velocity, Tuscadero Pink, Bright White, and black. The design aims to capture the spirit of Jeep vehicles.
Merrell's latest hiking innovation incorporates advanced features for comfort and performance. The Moab Speed 2 includes a FloatPro™ Foam midsole for lightweight comfort, Vibram lugs for enhanced traction, and recyclable mesh lining, laces, and webbing for breathability. These elements make it suitable for athletic hikers worldwide.
Pallav Tamaskar, Merrell's Chief Marketing Officer, expressed excitement about the collaboration with Jeep. "We are thrilled to collaborate with the Jeep brand again, whose sense of adventure is as daring as our own," said Tamaskar. The design team focused on creating a modern, lightweight hiking boot with thoughtful features.
Kim Adams House from Stellantis highlighted the success of their previous collaboration with Merrell. "Following a successful run with the first boot, we know our consumers are engaged and look forward to reaching a new audience through this second collaboration with Merrell," said House. The partnership showcases Jeep's bold colours and 4xe technology.
The launch will be accompanied by a road trip from Marquette to Las Vegas. Content creators Colleen Logan (@theworldiscolleen) and Matthew Chung (@chunger_shoots) will join in Rapid City. Fans can follow the journey on Instagram for chances to win giveaways.

The collection will also be sold at major retailers like Zappos in the US and Sports Experts in Canada. FCA's global licensing agency IMG facilitated this deal. Both brands aim to reach a wider audience through these retail partnerships.
