Mercedes EQA Launched At Rs 66 Lakh - 560km Range
German luxury carmaker Mercedes has launched the EQA in India. The Mercedes EQA is based on the ICE-powred GLA and is offered in a single, fully-specced variant level - the 250+ - which is priced at Rs 66 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Mercedes EQA 250+ is powered by a single electric motor mounted to the front axle of the EV. The single motor of the EQA 250+ produces 188bhp and 385Nm of peak torque which propels the electric crossover from 0-100km/h in 8.6 seconds and onto a top speed of 160km/h.

The electric motor draws power from a 70.5kWh battery pack that delivers a range of 560km (WLTP) on a single charge. The battery pack supports 100kW fast DC charging and once connected to said charger can top up its battery pack from 10 to 80 per cent in just 35 minutes. With an 11kW home AC charger, the EQA takes seven hours and 15 minutes to fully charge its batteries.
In terms of its looks, the EQA sports the signature piano black EQ grille up front with a large Mercedes logo in the centre that is surrounded by an array of three-pointed stars. Above the grille runs a lightbar connecting the LED headlights.

There are chrome highlights all around the car including on the front and rear bumpers, window sills and the sides of the EQA. The electric crossover rides on 19-inch AMG light alloy wheels.
At the rear, the electric EQA sports LED headlights that are connected by an LED lightbar, underneath which sits the Mercedes badge which also acts as the hiding spot for the rear-view camera.

Inside, the Mercedes EQA sports twin displays for the infotainment and entertainment setups and a 710-watt Burmester sound system with 12 speakers. The EQA also features Rose Gold highlights for the seats and AC vents.
Other features include a 360-degree camera, Head Up display, gesture control for the infotainment screen, an electrically adjustable tailgate, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting which also stretches to the left side of the dashboard.

In terms of safety, the Mercedes EQA sports 7 airbags, ADAS and a whole host of other tech which also includes the ability to park itself.
