Among the highlights is the Daimler two-cylinder V-engine from 1894, which powered vehicles that won the first-ever motor race from Paris to Rouen. The Mercedes-Benz W 25, a 750-kilogram formula racing car, will also be featured. This car debuted in the 1934 Eifel race and was driven by Manfred von Brauchitsch to victory.

The Mercedes-Benz Formula One racing car W 196 R, which returned to Grand Prix racing in 1954, will be on display. Juan Manuel Fangio drove this car to win the Formula One World Championship in both 1954 and 1955.

Modern vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz C 11 Group C racing sports car from 1990 and the Mercedes-Benz GT racing car CLK LM from 1998 will also be showcased. The C 11 secured a double title for its team and drivers in the Group C World Championship.

Brand ambassadors such as Klaus Ludwig, Bernd Mayländer, and Karl Wendlinger will represent Mercedes-Benz Classic at the event. Ludwig is a three-time DTM champion who joined AMG-Mercedes DTM in 1989. Mayländer has been driving the official Formula One safety car since 2000.

Mercedes-AMG's Strong Presence

Mercedes-AMG will have a significant presence at Goodwood with two Formula One cars from the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS team displayed in the Formula One paddock. Additionally, various performance and sports cars like the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and GT2 PRO will be showcased in special liveries celebrating "130 Years of Motorsport."

The festival's theme this year is "Horseless to Hybrid: Revolutions in Power," honouring automotive innovation since Carl Benz's invention of the automobile in 1886. Around 250,000 visitors are expected to attend this unique celebration of motorsport culture at Goodwood House in Sussex, England.

A Unique Stage for Motorsport Culture

The Goodwood Festival of Speed offers a platform for experiencing historic and modern sports cars on its famous hill climb circuit. Vehicles can also be seen on the Forest Rally Stage and Off-Road Arena, providing diverse motorsport experiences for attendees.
