The app on Apple Watch offers a seamless interaction beyond the car itself. Owners can ensure windows are closed after leaving the vehicle. To use these features, customers must have a Mercedes-Benz account and install version 3.50.0 or later of the Mercedes-Benz app on their smartphones. The app is compatible with Apple Watches running WatchOS 9 or later. Customers will need their own data volume for usage.
The app provides pedestrian route navigation to parked vehicles and compass mode for open areas without mapping.
