Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ Motorsport Collectors Edition Limited To Just 200 Units
Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ "Motorsport Collectors Edition" during the Formula 1™ Singapore Grand Prix. This exclusive model is limited to just 200 units and features a unique design inspired by the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. The car's obsidian black metallic paint, adorned with hand-painted silver stars and PETRONAS-coloured accents, mirrors the team's current racing car.
The exterior of this special edition boasts several distinctive elements. PETRONAS-coloured details are visible on various parts, including the front splitter, side air intake flics, and rear diffuser attachment. The 21-inch AMG forged wheels feature a matte black finish with PETRONAS-coloured rim flanges. Additionally, the brake callipers match this colour scheme, enhancing the vehicle's sporty appearance.
Inside, the AMG Performance seats are upholstered in black Nappa leather combined with MICROCUT microfibre. These seats feature PETRONAS-coloured topstitching and embossed AMG crests on the headrests. The interior also includes carbon trim elements that complement the heated AMG Performance steering wheel wrapped in MICROCUT leather/microfibre.
The "Motorsport Collectors Edition" comes equipped with advanced technology for an enhanced driving experience. It includes a Burmester High-End 3D Surround Sound System with 15 speakers and a total power output of 1,170 watts. Other features include a 360-degree camera, MBUX Interior Assistant, Driver Assistance Package, and a head-up display.
This model is powered by an AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine delivering 450 kW (612 hp). Aerodynamic enhancements reduce lift and improve cooling for better driving dynamics. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tyres as standard, measuring 295/30 ZR 21 at the front and 305/30 ZR 21 at the rear.
The vehicle's aerodynamic design is further accentuated by the AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre package. This includes a front splitter, side sill trim strips, diffuser, and rear wing made from high-quality carbon fibre. The fixed rear wing on the tailgate is part of the AMG Aerodynamics package.
Exclusive Features and Security
The edition-specific features extend to security measures as well. The GUARD 360° vehicle monitoring system helps protect against theft and vandalism. Each customer receives a customised indoor car cover designed to shield the vehicle from dust and scratches when stored in a garage.
The interior lighting system offers ambient lighting options that contribute to passenger comfort during long journeys. Additionally, an ENERGIZING package enhances overall well-being while travelling.
