Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe & CLE Cabriolet India Launch Tomorrow
Mercedes-Benz India is gearing up to introduce two new models on August 8, 2024. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe 4MATIC and the CLE Cabriolet will be launched as Completely Built Units (CBUs). These models are part of the C-Class family and will be priced above ₹1 crore (ex-showroom).
Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe 4MATIC marks its return after a two-year break. This new version replaces the previous 3.0-litre V6 engine with a 2.0-litre twin-four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. It generates 421bhp and 500Nm of peak torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The latest GLC 43 Coupe AMG is based on the newest generation of the GLC, which was introduced in India last year. It features a sleek roofline for added style and an updated dashboard layout with an 11.9-inch infotainment display. The cabin includes sports seats, red accents, and an AMG steering wheel with drive mode controls.
Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet
The Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet is set to replace both the C-Class Cabriolet and E-Class Cabriolet. This model is longer than the standard C-Class, offering more space and comfort for up to four passengers. It features a two-door, soft-top design.

The CLE Cabriolet retains many features from the C-Class but has a reprofiled rear to suit its convertible body style. Globally, it serves as a replacement for several models, including the C-Class Coupe and E-Class Coupe. The car made its global debut in July last year.
The CLE Cabriolet comes with multiple engine options: a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing either 201 bhp (CLE 200) or 254 bhp (CLE 300 4MATIC). There's also an AMG variant offering up to 443 bhp.
Both vehicles are expected to attract luxury car enthusiasts in India with their unique offerings and high-performance capabilities. The launch of these models signifies Mercedes-Benz's commitment to expanding its premium car lineup in India, catering to diverse customer preferences.
