Mecum Auctions To Showcase 1,500 Collector Vehicles At Osceola Heritage Park This July
Mecum Auctions is set to host its Summer Special auction from July 10-13, 2024, at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida. The event will feature around 1,500 vehicles, including American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, trucks, exotics, Hot Rods, and customs. MotorTrendTV and Max will broadcast the high-energy auction live.
The January 2024 Kissimmee auction by Mecum achieved a world-record $234 million in sales. Over 4,000 lots crossed the auction block during this event. This marked the first time a collector car auction surpassed $200 million in sales for two consecutive years. This success has encouraged the continuation of the summer edition of the auction.
The upcoming Summer Special auction will transform Osceola Heritage Park into a vibrant car show with diverse displays. Attendees can enjoy various vendors and food options throughout the three-day event. The venue will host eight private collections featuring nearly 140 cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more.
This year's highlights include two Mustang Fastbacks: a 1966 factory C-code model (Lot S169) with a rotisserie restoration and original drivetrain and a custom Super Snake overhaul by Unique Performance. The latter is a 1967 Ford Mustang GT500E Fastback (Lot S165) showing just 332 miles since completion.
Other notable vehicles include a 1956 Continental MkII (Lot S188), a 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 Coupe (Lot S195), a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 3LZ Convertible (Lot F144), and a 1969 Plymouth Hemi Road Runner (Lot S178). These vehicles lead an incredibly diverse consignment list heading to Florida.
