Mecum Auctions Returns As Sponsor For The 2024 Monterey Motorsports Festival

The Monterey Motorsports Festival is set to return on August 17, 2024, at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center. The event will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., offering a range of experiences for car enthusiasts of all ages. A portion of the proceeds will benefit select charitable organisations.

Following a successful debut in 2023, Mecum Auctions will again sponsor the classic cars area. Dave Magers, CEO of Mecum Auctions, stated, "Sponsoring the Monterey Motorsports Festival again this year was an easy decision, as the event proved its industry relevance and ability to engage, impress and educate attendees at its launch in 2023."

This year's festival will cover 22 acres divided into 15 distinct areas. Attendees can expect a mix of classic and modern cars, including rare and exotic models from around the globe. Additionally, there will be surprises from the aviation sector.

Family-friendly zones will feature bounce houses and interactive games for kids. Live entertainment includes performances by The Globe of Death Squad and various live music acts. Food and drink options will also be available for purchase.

Mecum Auctions has been a fixture during Monterey Car Week for over 15 years. This year, they will bring 600 vehicles and 100 motorcycles to auction at the Monterey Hyatt Regency Hotel & Spa on Del Monte Golf Course from August 15-17.

Charitable Contributions
