McLaren Trophy Europe To Debut In The UK In 2025 With Brands Hatch Opener

McLaren Automotive has announced the 2025 calendar for the McLaren Trophy, Europe. The championship will feature ten rounds at five venues. This follows the recent unveiling of the McLaren Trophy, America schedule. Established in 2023, this series challenges Bronze and Silver drivers in 50-minute races with pitstops for driver changes.

The 2025 season will kick off in May at Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit in the UK. This marks the first time the championship will visit the UK. Located within 50 miles of the McLaren Technology Centre, Brands Hatch is a historic venue for McLaren. The season continues at Italy’s Monza in early June.

McLaren Trophy's UK Debut in 2025

In late June, the championship will support the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa once again. This race is significant for McLaren, alongside the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Nürburgring circuit in Germany will host a round in August before the season concludes in October at Paul Ricard circuit in France.

All races will be live-streamed on McLaren Automotive's YouTube channel. Over 250,000 fans regularly tune in to watch these events. Mick McDonagh, Director of MSO and Motorsport at McLaren Automotive, expressed excitement about racing in the UK and continuing to support major endurance events.

The Artura Trophy race car features a 585PS V6 twin-turbo engine and a carbon-fibre chassis. It can be converted to GT4 specification, allowing teams to compete in both categories with the same chassis. The 570S Trophy car is based on the McLaren 570S GT4 race car and develops around 540PS.

The championship supports Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS across various iconic circuits. These include Italy’s Misano and Monza, Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps, Germany’s Nürburgring, and Spain’s Barcelona.
