Mazda North American Operations Reports Record Sales Of 37,307 Vehicles In October 2024

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced that their October 2024 sales reached 37,307 vehicles, marking a 58.7% increase compared to October 2023. The year-to-date sales amounted to 350,759 vehicles, reflecting an 18.5% rise from the previous year. With 27 selling days in October this year versus 25 last year, the Daily Selling Rate (DSR) saw a 47% increase.

October's sales achievements included the sixth consecutive month of growth and the highest-ever October sales for Mazda with 37,307 units sold. The CX-30 model achieved its best October sales with 7,216 units sold. Similarly, the CX-50 and CX-90 models also recorded their best October sales figures at 7,771 and 5,236 vehicles respectively.

Mazda Reports Record October Sales in 2024

Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) reported selling 6,808 vehicles in October, a rise of 24.9% compared to last year. Their year-to-date sales reached 61,961 vehicles, up by 25.9%. Meanwhile, Mazda Motor de Mexico (MMdM) sold 8,456 vehicles in October, showing a growth of 21% from the previous year. Year-to-date sales for MMdM totaled 77,436 vehicles, marking a significant increase of 29%.

The CX-70 model achieved its best-ever sales in October with 2,517 units sold. In addition to these highlights, certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle sales for Mazda totaled 6,027 in October, which is a rise of 25% compared to the same month last year.

The Mazda3 sedan saw a remarkable increase of 72.5%, selling 2,457 units in October compared to last year's figures. The hatchback version also experienced growth with a rise of 32.3%, selling over a thousand units this month. The MX-5 Miata showed impressive gains as well with a jump of over 71% in sales.

The CX-50 model experienced an impressive surge with a growth rate of over 145%, while the CX-90 saw an increase of more than 40%. On the other hand, some models like the MX-30 and CX-9 did not record any sales during this period.
