Mazda Welcomes Neeru Arora As New Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has appointed Neeru Arora as its new senior vice president and chief information officer, effective July 8, 2024. Arora, a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience, will spearhead MNAO's IT and digital transformation initiatives to support the company's growth and adapt to emerging market trends.
Arora's responsibilities include developing a comprehensive strategy using advanced analytics to ensure governance and compliance while safeguarding against cyber threats. She will report directly to Tom Donnelly, the president and CEO of MNAO. Donnelly expressed confidence in Arora's ability to balance long-term strategic vision with immediate practical improvements, aligning well with Mazda's challenger spirit.

Before joining Mazda, Arora served as the CIO for Alliant Credit Union in Chicago. She also held positions as CIO and CDO for Volkswagen Group of America and Volkswagen North America. Arora holds a B.A. in finance and economics from Loyola University of Chicago.

Mazda North American Operations is based in Irvine, California, overseeing sales, marketing, parts, and customer service support for Mazda vehicles across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Colombia through approximately 795 dealers. Canadian operations are managed by Mazda Canada Inc. in Richmond Hill, Ontario; Mexican operations by Mazda Motor de Mexico in Mexico City; and Colombian operations by Mazda de Colombia in Bogota.
