Maserati Reveals Quattroporte Grand Finale And MC20 Iris: Italian Craftsmanship At Its Peak

On 31 July, in the picturesque setting of Lake Maggiore in Stresa, Maserati delivered two unique cars to a US-based biomedical entrepreneur. These vehicles represent the pinnacle of Maserati's custom-built production. One is the final Quattroporte model, named Quattroporte Grand Finale, featuring a V8 engine. The other is the MC20 Iris, showcasing a rainbow-inspired design.

The Quattroporte Grand Finale boasts an elegant Blu Nobile exterior with carbon fibre body kit and brushed aluminium brake callipers. Its powerful 572-hp V8 engine is complemented by a custom cover signed by the Fuoriserie team and engineers. Inside, meticulous Italian craftsmanship shines through with features like burl accents on the steering wheel and leather-lined boot.

The MC20 Iris stands out with its AI Aqua Rainbow colour, chosen by the customer. This vibrant hue adorns both the exterior and interior, including stitching on the armrest and central tunnel made of ICE leather. The car's distinctive look is further enhanced by laser-cut 'MC20 Iris' lettering on the door sill.

Maserati S.p.A. produces a range of unique cars known for their extraordinary personality. Their vehicles are celebrated for style, technology, and exclusivity, appealing to discerning tastes globally. The lineup includes models like Grecale SUV, GranTurismo grand tourer, and GranCabrio convertible, all featuring high-quality materials and advanced technical solutions.

The Quattroporte Grand Finale’s interior pays homage to Italian artisanship with tan door panels, black leather A-pillar, and Trident logo stitched in black on the headrest. A special 'Grand Finale' badge on the central tunnel and dedicated door sill add to its distinctive appearance.

Innovative Engineering

The MC20 Iris exemplifies Maserati's commitment to innovation and tradition. Its AI Aqua Rainbow colour extends to details like the '+' and '-' signs on steering wheel paddles and stitching in the engine compartment. This car merges Maserati’s heritage with future-forward elements.

Maserati’s current range includes hybrid powertrains for models like Grecale and V6 petrol engines for rear-wheel and four-wheel drive vehicles. The top-tier MC20 super sports car features the Nettuno V6 engine with F1-derived technologies.

Future Prospects

By 2025, all Maserati models will have full-electric versions available. By 2028, Maserati aims for its entire range to be electric-only. This transition includes models like GranTurismo Folgore and Grecale Folgore SUV.

The GranTurismo offers both high-performance V6 petrol engines derived from Nettuno and a 100% electric version. The latest addition to Maserati’s electric lineup is the GranCabrio Folgore.

Maserati continues to redefine Italian sports cars in terms of design, performance, comfort, elegance, and safety across more than 70 markets worldwide.
