Maserati Marks MC12 Anniversary With Limited Edition MC20s And GranCabrio Folgore UK Debut At Goodwood 2024
Maserati will be a highlight at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, celebrating 20 years of MC12 with the global debut of two limited edition MC20 supercars. The Italian brand will also introduce its third all-electric model, GranCabrio Folgore, to the UK public for the first time.
The new GranCabrio Folgore is Maserati’s latest electric vehicle and the world’s first electric four-seater convertible. It features an advanced 800-volt battery system, providing impressive performance and fast charging for long-distance travel. Visitors can explore its design and technology at Electric Avenue during the festival.

To honour the MC12's legacy, Maserati has created two limited edition MC20s named Icona and Leggenda. These models are inspired by the liveries of the MC12 Stradale and MC12 GT1 Vitaphone. Both will make their world debuts at Goodwood, showcasing Maserati's racing heritage.
The track-focused Versione Corse, a sequel to the MC12, will also be on display. Produced in 2006 with only one prototype and 12 units made, this model features a powerful 755hp V12 engine. Festival attendees will have a rare chance to see this legendary car up close in the Supercar Paddock.
Maserati's GranCabrio Folgore represents a significant step in their electrification strategy. This new flagship offers rapid acceleration and luxurious comfort for four passengers while maintaining Maserati’s signature performance and style. It is set to arrive in UK showrooms next month in Trofeo form, followed by its electric version.
The debutants at Goodwood reflect Maserati’s strategy of offering both petrol and electric versions of their cars. This approach caters to discerning buyers who seek either traditional or modern powertrains without compromising on luxury or performance.
