Maserati GranTurismo Secures Coupé Of The Year Title At Auto Express 2024 Awards
The Maserati GranTurismo has been named Coupé of the Year at the Auto Express New Car Awards 2024. The GranTurismo Trofeo stood out among 25 categories, showcasing a blend of dynamic performance, advanced technology, and Italian engineering heritage. The awards are determined by the Auto Express team, who evaluate cars based on overall performance, price, and quality.
Auto Express Editor Paul Barker praised the GranTurismo, stating, "A wonderful balance between driving pleasure and cross-continental style and comfort, the Maserati GranTurismo is a GT (grand tourer) that can do it all. It's an exclusive and beautiful top-end coupé that gives Maserati even more new levels of desirability."
The new Maserati GranTurismo combines timeless Italian elegance with modern automotive innovation. Its sleek design honours the brand’s heritage while incorporating contemporary elements to enhance aesthetics and performance. The four-seater coupé features an aggressive front fascia, sculpted lines, and the distinctive Maserati trident emblem, exuding luxury and sophistication.
Under the bonnet, the GranTurismo Trofeo boasts a powerful three-litre twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine delivering 580 horsepower. This powertrain ensures thrilling acceleration and engaging handling. The finely tuned chassis and suspension provide a compliant ride and cabin comfort for longer journeys.
