Maserati GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello: Electrifying Luxury Meets Italian Craftsmanship
Maserati has created a customised Fuoriserie version of its GranCabrio Folgore electric vehicle to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Tignanello, a renowned red wine produced by Marchesi Antinori. The one-of-a-kind car will be auctioned on July 14 at Festival Napa Valley's Arts for All Gala in California, a prominent arts charity event in the US.
This collaboration between Maserati and Marchesi Antinori, a family-owned winery with over 600 years of history, highlights the shared values of innovation, tradition, and passion that characterise both Italian brands. The GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello is inspired by the vineyard and features unique design elements that pay homage to the prestigious Tignanello wine.

The exterior boasts a custom chestnut-coloured paint called Terra di Tignanello, reminiscent of the vineyard's soil and the wine's characteristic barriques. Copper accents adorn the emblems and Maserati logo, while matte black rims and gloss black callipers complete the look.
Unique Interior Details
The interior showcases innovative materials and craftsmanship that celebrate the history of both houses. The seats are upholstered in Vegea, an eco-friendly fabric derived from vineyards that resembles leather.
This material is used for the first time in a Maserati car and features a silver and burgundy ribbed weave pattern inspired by rows of vines on Tignanello hill. Dark briar wood panels with lasered details evoke oak barrels used in winemaking, while embroidery on the headrests combines Maserati's Trident logo with Tignanello's sun symbol.
Klaus Busse, Maserati Head of Design, expressed pride in this collaboration as it epitomises bespoke production and Italian excellence. Piero Antinori also shared his excitement for this unique model that represents their wine's identity and recognisability.

GranCabrio Folgore: A Luxury Electric Convertible
