Season 10 of the Formula E Championship concluded on Sunday, 21 July in London, after 16 global races. Maserati MSG Racing secured eighth place in the Constructors' standings. Maximilian Günther, in his second season with the team, finished eighth in the Drivers' standings. Jehan Daruvala, a newcomer this year, ended up in twenty-first place.

Jehan Daruvala, the only rookie on the grid this year, gained confidence with each race. He secured his first top 10 finish in round 2 at Misano and consistently fought for mid-table positions in qualifiers and races. Despite facing challenges during Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Maserati MSG Racing remained focused on their goals.

Maserati chose to participate in the 100% electric series in 2023 as part of its racing strategy. This decision aligns with their heritage and commitment to motorsport. The Trident brand has a rich history of success on the track over its 110-year existence.

Maserati's involvement in Formula E is an opportunity to develop advanced technologies that can be applied to mass production. The brand now offers a range of full-electric cars under the Folgore line. Giovanni Sgro, Head of Maserati Corse, reflected on the season: "This second season has been full of excitement, and we've learned a lot: there was no shortage of positive moments and celebrations for the podiums in Tokyo and Misano."

Sgro continued: "Our debut year was focused on getting to grips with and fitting into a new context for Maserati in the best possible way: racing with 100% electric single-seaters. Season 10 enabled us to get to the heart of the series." He thanked everyone involved for their dedication throughout the season.

Maserati's Future Plans

Maserati produces a range of unique cars known for their style, technology, and exclusivity. Their lineup includes models like Grecale SUV, GranTurismo grand tourer, and GranCabrio convertible. These vehicles use high-quality materials and advanced technical solutions.

The MC20 super sports car and MC20 Cielo spyder are powered by the Nettuno V6 engine, which incorporates F1-derived technologies into standard production cars for the first time. The GranTurismo is available with both a high-performance V6 petrol engine and a fully electric version called GranTurismo Folgore.

The Grecale Folgore is Maserati’s first full-electric SUV. By 2025, all Maserati models will have full-electric versions available. By 2028, Maserati aims to have an entirely electric range.

Formula E remains crucial for Maserati's development of production cars while maintaining their passion for racing. As Sgro stated: "Formula E continues to be an essential platform for Maserati in developing our production cars." Now is a time for reflection as they prepare for next year.
