Price Evolution of Maruti Swift
The first-gen Maruti Swift launched in 2005 had a starting price of Rs 3.87 lakh, with the top-spec variant at Rs 4.85 lakh. The second-gen model was introduced in 2011, priced between Rs 4.22 lakh and Rs 6.38 lakh. A facelift in 2014 ranged from Rs 4.42 lakh to Rs 6.95 lakh.

The third-gen Swift, launched in 2018, was priced from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 8.29 lakh. A facelift in 2021 was available at Rs 5.73 lakh to Rs 8.41 lakh. The latest, fourth-gen model, launched in May 2024, starts at Rs 6.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.64 lakh, marking a significant price increase.

Features of the New 4th-Gen Swift
The new Swift boasts a sporty design with updated grille and bumpers. Key features include LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, there's a 9-inch touchscreen, Arkamys Surround Sense, voice commands, and OTA updates. Other features include a wireless charger, engine/stop button, and cruise control.
