Maruti Suzuki Announces Enhanced Warranty Programmes For Customers
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has upgraded its warranty programmes to provide better peace of mind for its customers. The standard warranty, which was previously 2 years or 40,000 km, is now extended to 3 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. This new warranty applies to all vehicles delivered from July 9th, 2024.
The enhanced standard warranty covers the engine, transmission, mechanical components, electrical systems, and air conditioning systems but excludes consumables. This ensures customers can access free repairs at any Maruti Suzuki authorised service centre across the country during the warranty period.
Extended Warranty Packages
In addition to the standard warranty enhancement, Maruti Suzuki has expanded its extended warranty options. Customers can now choose from three extended warranty packages:
- Platinum Package: Up to 4 years or 120,000 km
- Royal Platinum Package: Up to 5 years or 140,000 km
- Solitaire Package: Up to 6 years or 160,000 km
This initiative also includes extending the coverage of 11 high-value parts beyond the standard warranty duration.

In line with this commitment, we have enhanced our standard warranty coverage to 3 years or 100,000 km to provide greater value to our customers."
"Furthermore, we have introduced extended warranty packages for up to 6 years or 160,000 km and revised the scope of 4th year and 5th year extended warranty packages. The enhanced standard warranty and updated extended warranty packages will offer our customers added convenience and peace of mind, ultimately enhancing their overall ownership experience."
