The entry-level VXi trim includes features like six airbags, ESC, remote central locking, halogen projector headlamps, 14-inch steel wheels, and power windows. The mid-level VXi (O) adds a height-adjustable driver’s seat, a 7-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and steering-mounted controls.

The top-spec ZXi variant offers LED projector headlamps with DRLs, 15-inch alloy wheels, wireless charging, automatic climate control, and a rear washer wiper. This high-spec variant was introduced due to customer demand for a well-equipped hatchback with a factory-fitted CNG kit.

Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG: Other Details

The Swift CNG retains a single large cylinder in the boot rather than adopting the twin-cylinder setup seen in newer Hyundai and Tata models. Maruti claims that CO2 emissions are reduced by six percent compared to the previous model. The deliveries for the new Swift CNG will start this weekend in Gujarat before expanding to other states like Maharashtra, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi—Maruti's top markets for CNG models.

DriveSpark Thinks

Maruti Suzuki remains India's leading carmaker with CNG-powered models, aiming for annual sales of six lakh CNG passenger cars and SUVs. Last year, they sold around 4.77 lakh CNG cars in India. From April to August 2024 alone, Maruti sold 2.21 lakh CNG vehicles.

This launch underscores Maruti's commitment to expanding its eco-friendly vehicle lineup while meeting consumer demands for more efficient and feature-rich options.
