Maruti Suzuki Unveils Swift Blitz Special Edition: Comes With Additional Accessories Worth Rs 49,848

Maruti Suzuki has introduced a special edition of the Swift, named Blitz, to coincide with the festive season. This edition is available through Maruti Arena dealers for a limited time and targets the lower-spec variants of the hatchback. The Swift Blitz is offered in three trims: LXI, VXI, and VXI(O).

The Swift Blitz comes with additional accessories valued at Rs 49,848. These include a rear underbody spoiler, a boot-top spoiler, fog lamps, illuminated door sills, door visors, and side moulding. Despite these enhancements, the car's mechanical aspects remain unchanged.

Swift Blitz Pricing and Variants

The Swift Blitz is available in five variants: LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI(O), and VXI(O) AMT. The price range for this special edition is between Rs 6.49 lakh and Rs 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom). The accessory kit is provided free of charge to buyers.

The Swift was launched in May and recently added CNG-powered variants. It features a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that delivers 82hp and 112Nm on petrol and 70hp and 112Nm on CNG. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard for petrol models, with an optional 5-speed AMT available for all but the base variant.

Maruti's Festive Season Strategy

This marks Maruti's fifth special edition release during the festive period, showcasing the company's commitment to innovation and consumer engagement. By introducing these unique editions, Maruti aims to enhance its appeal in a highly competitive automotive market.

The latest offerings, including the Baleno Regal Edition, Grand Vitara Dominion Edition, Wagon R Waltz Edition, and Ignis Radiance Edition, reflect the company's strategy to attract diverse customer segments. Each edition comes with distinctive features and design enhancements, catering to the preferences of different buyers.

Maruti Suzuki continues to offer competitive pricing across its lineup during this festive season. Discounts are available on various models including Brezza, Swift, Alto, and Wagon R with savings up to Rs 55,000.

Additionally, the Maruti Grand Vitara sees discounts exceeding Rs 1.03 lakh this month. These offers reflect Maruti's strategy to enhance its market presence during this crucial sales period.
