Maruti Suzuki Jimny July 2024 Offers: Save Up To Rs 3.3 Lakh
Maruti Suzuki Jimny has been a topic of interest globally since its launch. Despite its popularity, the SUV hasn't translated this enthusiasm into sales in India. To boost sales, Maruti Suzuki is offering significant benefits to buyers in July 2024.
In June 2024, Maruti Suzuki increased the benefits on Jimny to Rs 1.5 lakh. This month, potential buyers can enjoy even more benefits. The headline figure for July 2024 is Rs 3.3 lakh worth of benefits. This surpasses the Rs 2 lakh discount offered last year to clear backlogs.
Maruti Jimny Benefits July 2024
The total benefits of Rs 3.3 lakh include cash discounts and additional discounts through Maruti Suzuki's finance services. The base Zeta trim gets a cash discount of Rs 1.75 lakh, while the top-spec Alpha trim receives a Rs 1.85 lakh discount. Buyers opting for Maruti Suzuki finance services will get an extra Rs 1.5 lakh benefit.
Jimny's initial sales were promising when it launched in June 2023, peaking at 3,778 units in July 2023. However, sales have dwindled over time, with only 274 units sold in May 2024. The numbers from June 2024 are yet to be released.
New Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The Jimny offers several features like a headlight washer, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six airbags as standard, auto climate control, cruise control, and push-button start. It is powered by a reliable 1.5L petrol engine producing 103 bhp and 132.4 Nm torque, paired with a standard 4X4 transfer case.
Compared to its rival Mahindra Thar, which has a waiting period and offers a three-door configuration, the Jimny is more readily available and comes with five doors. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki's extensive dealer network provides an edge over competitors.
Considering the Rs 3.3 lakh worth of benefits and potential additional dealer-level discounts due to stockpile issues, the Jimny has become an attractive buy today. Prices for the Jimny range between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (Ex-showroom).
Despite its initial success in mid-2023, Jimny's sales have not sustained over time. Exactly a year after its peak sales month in July 2023, Maruti Suzuki is now offering substantial incentives to attract buyers and boost sales figures.
The combination of cash discounts and additional finance-related benefits makes the current offer appealing for potential buyers looking for an off-road SUV with practical features and availability advantages over competitors.
