Empowering Local Manufacturing and Economy

Maruti Suzuki's emphasis on self-reliance and quality in manufacturing has been evident since the inception of the Manesar facility. It has nurtured a robust local supply chain, ensuring that the production meets global standards. This approach has not only fostered the company's success in domestic and international markets but also stressed the importance of local manufacturing.

Creating numerous direct and indirect job opportunities, the Manesar plant significantly contributes to the local economy. It supports a vast workforce engaged in production, quality assurance, and supply chain management, alongside an extensive network of suppliers and ancillary industries.

Enhancing Global Competitiveness through Exports

A remarkable facet of the Manesar facility's success is its contribution to Maruti Suzuki's exports. Notably, the Baleno was the first passenger car exported from India to Japan, highlighting the facility's international quality standards.

Maruti Suzuki has adeptly balanced catering to domestic needs while bolstering its export potential. This strategy has fortified the company's leadership stance, with the Manesar plant's manufacturing processes being both efficient and cost-effective, without compromising on quality.
