Maruti Suzuki Jimny Mod: Huge Tyres, Custom Lift Kit & Much More
Since the in India on the 7th of June, the Maruti Suzuki has been seen modified in many different ways, but a few really stand out. Recently, pictures of one of those few Jimny have been shared online.
This Jimny has been fitted with huge all-terrain tyres and a custom-built lift kit, along with other changes. Maruti Suzuki India Limited will showcase the modified Jimny as the official vehicle at the Rock and Road Jimny event.

The exact list of the modifications done on this modified Jimny hasn't been revealed yet. However, from the pictures, we can see big mud-terrain tyres with bead-lock alloy wheels. The Jimny also has a custom lift kit to fit the huge wheels and tyres. Additionally, the stock bumper has been cut to prevent it from rubbing against the tyres.
Moreover, the Jimny is equipped with a snorkel on the right A-pillar to allow the vehicle to go through higher water levels. This Jimny is stated to undergo engine and ECU tuning modifications to produce more power. This is to compensate for the added weight from the wheels and tyres.
The stock Maruti Suzuki Jimny is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. This well-known Maruti Suzuki engine produces 100bhp and 134Nm of torque paired with two transmission options available, either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.
In India, the domestic market gets two variants of the Jimny, the base Zeta variant starting at Rs 10.74 lakh and the Alpha variant starting at Rs 12.69 lakh. The Alpha Automatic with dual-tone paint, is priced at Rs 15.05 lakh as the most expensive variant.
