Maruti Suzuki Invicto Faces Sharp Sales Decline in August 2024 Despite Advanced Features
Maruti Suzuki cars remain a favourite among Indian buyers. In August 2024, the Maruti Brezza led car sales in India, attracting 19,190 new customers.
However, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto did not fare as well, drawing only 174 customers and ranking 17th on the sales list. This is a significant drop from August 2023, where it had 589 customers, marking a 70.46% decline in year-on-year sales.

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto offers advanced connected car technology. It includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, it features a 7-inch full digital driver display, ventilated front seats, and ambient lighting to enhance the driving experience.
For passenger safety, the Invicto is equipped with six airbags, vehicle stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, and front and rear parking sensors. These features ensure a safe and comfortable journey for all passengers.

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto is powered by a robust engine derived from the Toyota Innova Hycross. It combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, generating a maximum power of 186 bhp and a peak torque of 206 Nm. This MPV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 9.5 seconds.
The certified mileage of the Invicto is an impressive 23.24 kilometres per litre. This makes it an efficient choice for long-distance trips and daily commutes. The car is available in both 7-seater and 8-seater configurations to cater to different customer needs.

Customers can choose from four colour options and two variants in the Indian market, providing options for people to select according to their preferences. The starting ex-showroom price of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto ranges from ₹25.21 lakh for the base model to ₹28.92 lakh for the top model. This price positions it as a premium car in its segment.
Performance Capabilities
Despite its recent sales performance, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto is a feature-rich MPV with strong performance capabilities and advanced safety features, making it an attractive option for discerning buyers in India.
The economic situation does not allow many to afford expensive vehicles. Therefore, the market for affordable family cars is much larger in India.
