Maruti Suzuki India Reveals Leadership Changes For April 2024
In a notable move, Maruti Suzuki India has revealed changes within its leadership team. Effective April 1, 2024, Partho Banerjee will become the new head of marketing and sales. He is currently the Head of Service. This decision was shared alongside other key appointments and transfers aimed at bolstering the company's leadership.
New Leadership Appointments
Banerjee will step into the shoes of Shashank Srivastava, who is set to join the Member Executive Committee. Alongside this shift, Tarun Aggarwal will assume the role of Head of Engineering from the same date. Aggarwal, who now oversees the Powertrain vertical as Executive Officer, is replacing CV Raman.

Additionally, Sandeep Raina and Ram Suresh Akella have received promotions within the company. Raina has been named Head of Product Planning, and Akella will lead the Service department. Rajesh Uppal, previously leading HR & IT, will also join the Member Executive Committee.
Further Changes and Strategic Focus
The reshuffle includes Manoj Gautam taking over as Head of IT and Salil B Lal as Head of HR. Sunil Kakkar transitions from Head of Supply Chain to Head of Corporate Planning. Meanwhile, Deepak Thukral and Rahul Bharti have been appointed as Head of Supply Chain and Head of Corporate Affairs, respectively.
