Next-Gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire To Be Launched In August – All Details Here
The much-awaited all-new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is said to be launched in August. Though this latest generation Dzire will be based on the recently launched fourth-gen Swift, the Dzire is expected to come with more features.
In fact, we expect Maruti Suzuki to include additional features like a segment-first single-pane sunroof and a 360-degree camera in the upcoming Dzire sedan. However, we do not expect the model to feature ADAS tech yet.

That being said, the interior design of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire is likely to remain almost identical to the fourth-gen Swift albeit with a few changes to the colours and upholstery.
Speaking about the changes, the upcoming Dzire is also expected to feature plenty of design revisions compared to the fourth-generation Swift, which it is based on. As such, it is safe to expect the new Dzire to come with redesigned front bumper and grille.

Looking at the earlier spy shots, we expect the upcoming new Dzire to look a bit more proportional and mature compared to the outgoing version. We also expect the model to have a roomier interior.
Despite these changes, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be powered by the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, Z-series engine as the outgoing fourth-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift. This powertrain pushes out 80.46bhp and 111.7Nm of torque, and can be specified with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT unit.

Speaking about the mileage figures, we expect the upcoming new Maruti Suzuki Dzire to be slightly more fuel-efficient than the new Swift. To put that into perspective, the outgoing Swift's official mileage figures stand at 25.72km/l.
Also, the CNG version of the new Swift and Dzire are expected to be launched in a few more months down the line. These models are expected to deliver unbelievable fuel efficiency figures.

DriveSpark Thinks
When launched, we expect the next-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire to draw the attention of a significant number of car buyers in India. This will help the automaker to significantly boost its sales figures in the coming months.
