New Maruti Suzuki Dzire To Be Launched After Diwali: All Details Here
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire will have a distinct exterior compared to the Swift. The price announcement for the new model is likely to be set for after Diwali. While it shares many components with the Swift, its design will stand out.
Exterior Design
The next-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire will feature a horizontally slatted grille and slim headlights. It will also sport new alloy wheels, wraparound LED tail-lights, and a sunroof, which the Swift lacks. The front bumper will have a sportier look, and the boot will have more angular creases.

Unlike previous models, this Dzire will be better differentiated from the Swift. The compact sedan's nose resembles that of an Audi, adding to its unique appearance. Despite these changes, it retains the Heartect platform shared with the Swift.
Interior and Features
Inside, the Dzire will share many elements with the Swift but in lighter colours to create an airy feel. Top-spec variants are expected to include a 9-inch free-standing touchscreen, climate control system, and an analogue instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch digital MID.

The new Dzire will use the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z Series petrol engine as the Swift. This engine produces 82hp and 112Nm of torque on petrol and 69.75hp and 101.8Nm on CNG. Petrol variants will offer both 5-speed manual and AMT options, while CNG versions will only come with a manual transmission.
Launch Details and Pricing
The launch of the new Dzire is anticipated around Diwali, with CNG variant prices to be announced later. The new model is expected to be priced higher than the current Dzire, which ranges from Rs 6.57 lakh to Rs 9.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
This new-gen Dzire will compete against models like Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor. More details about this compact sedan will be revealed soon. Overall, Maruti's latest offering promises several upgrades in design and features while maintaining its core strengths.
