New-Gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire Promises Impressive Fuel Efficiency Figures: All Details Here
The upcoming fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire is set to be launched on November 11. Like the new Swift, the Dzire also uses the same It 82hp, 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine is available with both manual and AMT gearbox options.
This new powertrain is raved for its fuel efficiency and the many potential customers are left wondering about the fuel efficiency of the upcoming Dzire sedan. As such, Maruti Suzuki has revealed the fuel efficiency figures for the Dzire sedan ahead of its launch in the country.

According to the Indo-Japanese automaker, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire's fuel efficiency under the ARAI testings stand at 24.79kpl for the manual and 25.71kpl for the AMT version.
In comparison, the new Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback achieves 24.8kpl for the manual and 25.74kpl for the AMT forms. The slight difference in mileage can be attributed to the Dzire's additional boot weight. While the Swift weighs between 920-925kg, the Dzire's kerb weight ranges from 920-960kg, depending on the variant.
Performance Against Competitors
Despite its added weight, the new Dzire surpasses its predecessor in fuel efficiency. The previous model offered 22.41kpl for manual and 22.61kpl for AMT versions. In comparison to competitors like the Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura, which are rated at 18.3-18.6kpl and 17kpl respectively, the Dzire stands out as a more efficient choice.
The combination of improved fuel efficiency and competitive performance makes the new Maruti Dzire a strong contender in its segment. With these enhancements, it is poised to attract buyers looking for a compact sedan that balances power with economy effectively.
