Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the Brezza Urbano Edition, a special version of its compact SUV. The Urbano Edition is offered in both petrol and CNG trims, with options for manual and automatic transmissions (automatic is exclusive for petrol variants).

Brezza Urbano Edition Variant Details

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza Urbano Edition is available with the entry-level LXi and mid-level VXi variants, starting at Rs 8.49 lakh. It bundles various accessories at a reduced price to enhance the vehicle's appeal. The Brezza's standard price ranges from Rs 8.34 lakh to Rs 14.14 lakh, but discounts of up to Rs 25,000 are available this month.

Brezza Urbano Edition LXi

For the LXi variant, the Urbano Edition includes a rear parking camera, touchscreen, speakers, front fog lamp kit, fog lamp garnish, front and rear skid plates, front grille chrome garnish, body side moulding, and a wheel arch kit. These accessories cost Rs 52,370 individually or Rs 42,000 as a kit but are priced at just Rs 15,000 with the Urbano package.

Brezza Urbano Edition VXi

In the VXi variant, the Urbano Edition adds a rear camera, fog lamps, special dashboard trim, body side moulding, wheel arch kit, metal sill guards, registration plate frame, and 3D floor mats. These items cost Rs 26,149 separately or Rs 18,500 as a kit but are available for only Rs 3,500 with the package.

Powertrain

The Brezza Urbano Edition continues to be powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with 103hp and 137Nm of torque. It comes with a standard 5-speed manual transmission and an optional 6-speed torque converter. Maruti Suzuki also offers a CNG version of the Brezza.

Competition

Competitors of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza include Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300 among others. That being said, the new Brezza Urbano Edition aims to enhance equipment levels in lower variants while offering significant savings on accessory costs. This move is expected to attract more buyers looking for value-added features without significantly increasing their budget.
