Mahindra XUV400 Pro Launched At Rs 15.49 Lakh - 3 Variants, 2 Battery Packs, 456km Max Range

Mahindra XUV400 Pro launched in India. The Mahindra XUV400 Pro lineup starts at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings will start at 2 p.m. on January 12th for a booking amount of Rs 21,000 with deliveries set to commence on February 1st.

The Mahindra XUV400 Pro is offered in three variants - EC Pro (34.5kWh battery pack) priced at Rs 15.49 lakh, EL Pro (34.5kWh battery pack) priced at Rs 16.49 lakh and EL Pro (39.4kWh battery pack) priced at Rs 17.49 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).

The base Mahindra XUV400 Pro EC Pro variant is offered with a 34.5kWh battery pack and a 3.3kW onboard AC charger. This variant of the new XUV400 Pro only comes with two airbags as part of its safety kit.

The two EL Pro variants both get faster 7.2kW onboard AC charging capabilities with either a 34.5kWh (375km range) or a larger 39.4kWh battery pack with a maximum range of 456 kilometres (all range figures are as per MIDC testing).

All variants of the Mahindra XUV400 support DC fast charging though though the Indian SUV specialist hasn't revealed the maximum charging speed supported by the XUV400 Pro range except for stating that the fast-charging compatibility has been tested globally.

All versions of the Mahindra XUV400 Pro are offered with the same single motor setup that pushes out a class-leading 147.5bhp and 310Nm of peak torque. This allows the Mahindra XUV400 to sprint from 0-100km/h in 8.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 150km/h.

The Mahindra XUV400 Pro is 4,200mm long and sports a 2,600mm wheelbase allowing customers to enjoy excellent cabin space and legroom. The boot space on the Mahindra XUV400 Pro is rated at 378 litres.

The higher-spec EL variants of the new Mahindra XUV400 Pro ride on 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. These variants sport projector headlamps with LED DRLs and LED taillights.

Inside the cabin of the XUV400 Pro (EL variants), the seats are draped in leatherette upholstery while the steering wheel is wrapped in leather. The XUV400 Pro (EL) gets a premium audio system with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters.

Also seen are two 10.25-inch displays for the instrumentation and infotainment (touchscreen), an electrically operated sunroof, satin inserts in the door cladding, an illuminated glovebox, height adjustable driver's seat, wireless charger, a reversing camera with adaptive guidelines, rain-sensing wipers and auto headlamps.

Other highlights of the Mahindra XUV400 include connected car tech, ESP, TPMS, auto-dimming IRVM, and ISOFIX seats among others.
