The Mahindra XUV 3XO has seen a notable rise in sales compared to its predecessor, the XUV300. In FY2023, the XUV300 model averaged over 5,000 units monthly.
Mahindra XUV 3XO Waiting Period
In the last six months, however, the XUV 3XO's average monthly sales have exceeded 8,400 units. This surge in demand has led to longer waiting periods for this compact SUV.
Delivery times for the Mahindra XUV 3XO vary based on the variant chosen. The entry-level MX1 petrol variant has the longest wait time of up to one year due to limited production.
Meanwhile, mid-spec AX5 petrol variants may take up to eight months for delivery. Diesel variants generally have shorter waiting periods of about one month.
Mahindra XUV 3XO Engine Options
The XUV 3XO offers two turbo-petrol and one diesel engine option. The petrol engines include a 111hp, 1.2-litre unit and a more powerful 131hp, 1.2-litre direct injection engine.
Both come with a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox option. The diesel variant features a 117hp, 1.5-litre engine paired with a six-speed AMT option.
Mahindra XUV 3XO Features and Pricing
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is well-equipped with features like dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS technology, and a panoramic sunroof. These attributes make it one of the best-equipped compact SUVs in its segment.
Demand for diesel variants remains lower than that for petrol models, resulting in shorter wait times of around one month for most diesel options. It's important to note that these waiting periods are not affected by gearbox choices.
