Mahindra XEV 9e Base-Spec 'Pack One' Variant Details
Mahindra has unveiled the specifications, safety features, and powertrain details for its entry-level XEV 9e variant. The introductory price for this all-electric coupe-SUV is set at Rs 21.90 lakh for the base model, known as the Mahindra XEV 9e Pack One. However, Mahindra has not yet disclosed the complete pricing or the total number of variants available.
Powertrain & Performance
The Mahindra XEV 9e Pack One is equipped with a 59kWh battery that offers a range of 542km according to MIDC standards. It features a motor producing 231hp and 380Nm of torque. The vehicle includes single pedal drive functionality and virtual engine sounds. Additionally, it offers various drive modes such as Range, Everyday, and Race, along with variable ratio power steering.
Safety Features
Safety is a priority in the Mahindra XEV 9e Pack One, which comes with six airbags and rear disc brakes. It also includes brake-by-wire technology and a rear camera for enhanced safety. Other notable features are a tyre pressure monitoring system, driver drowsiness detection system, automatic headlights, and wipers.
Technology and Convenience
The tech-savvy interior of the XEV 9e Pack One boasts three 12.3-inch screens: one for passengers, another for touchscreen infotainment, and a digital instrument cluster. Connected car technology with select remote functions is included alongside wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Over-the-air updates ensure the software remains current.
The vehicle supports external device compatibility for rear seat passengers and integrates Amazon Alexa for voice commands. Audio is delivered through four speakers and two tweeters. Comfort features include fabric upholstery, auto climate control with rear AC vents, keyless entry and go, a cooled glove box, front and rear Type C ports (65W), second-row recline with a 60:40 split-folding function, driver's seat height adjustment, seat belt adjustability, tilt-and-telescopic steering adjustment, and cruise control.

Standard on this entry-level variant are 19-inch wheels paired with an illuminated logo and an all-LED lighting setup. However, the Rs 21.90 lakh price does not include a charger; options available are either a 7.2kW or an 11kW charger.
Top-Spec Model Highlights
While details about the top-spec variant's name or price remain undisclosed, it will feature enhancements like a panoramic sunroof and an advanced audio system by Harman Kardon with Dolby Atmos capabilities. Additional safety features will include seven airbags and Level 2 ADAS suite offering self-parking functionality along with blind spot monitoring.
