Mahindra Veero LCV Launched In India: Available Diesel & CNG Powertrain Options

Mahindra has introduced the Veero light commercial vehicle (LCV) in India, enhancing its presence in the sub 3.5T LCV segment. Built on the new Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), the Veero is priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 9.56 lakh, depending on the variant and fuel type.

The Veero is available in diesel and CNG options, with an electric version expected later. It boasts a payload capacity of 1,600 kg and fuel efficiency of 18.4 km/l for diesel and 19.2 km/kg for CNG variants. The service intervals are set at an impressive 20,000 km.

The Mahindra Veero offers unmatched features, comfort, and safety equipment, living up to its 'Soch Se Aage' promise. It comes in two cargo lengths: 2,765 mm and 3,035 mm, and three cargo types: Standard Deck, High Deck, and CBC.

The V2 trim includes a driver seat with slide and recline function, flat fold seats for sleeping position, door armrest, vinyl seat covers, floor carpet, mobile dock, a 12V socket, piano black cluster bezel, grab handles on the driver side A Pillar, and a driver airbag.

The V4 trim adds features like a heater and AC, adjustable headrest for the driver seat, fabric and vinyl seat covers with floor carpets. It also includes an upper glove box for storage, fast charging USB C-Type port, and a driver airbag.

The top-spec V6 trim includes a 26.03 cm touchscreen infotainment system, power windows, reverse parking camera, steering-mounted controls, iMAXX connected vehicle technology with over 50 features in six languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam), and standard driver side airbag.

The Mahindra Veero is powered by a 1.5-litre mDI diesel engine delivering 80.05bhp and 210Nm of torque. The Turbo mCNG engine offers best-in-class power of 90.1bhp and 210 Nm torque. This efficient engine lineup provides a certified range of over 500 km.

With best-in-class service intervals of 20,000 km and features like start/stop system and Eco mode for better fuel efficiency, the Mahindra Veero enhances profitability for businesses. It also comes with a standard warranty of three years or one lakh km.

Competing against Tata Intra range and Ashok Leyland Dost range in its segment, the Mahindra Veero sets new standards in ownership experience with its spacious cabin featuring D+2 seating arrangement and reclining driver seat.

The vehicle's safety equipment complies with new AIS096 crash safety standards. Its turning radius of just 5.1 meters makes it ideal for urban manoeuvres.
