Mahindra has revealed that its latest model, the Thar ROXX, has received a staggering 176218 bookings in just one hour after bookings opened at 11.00 am. This remarkable demand underscores the Thar ROXX's allure across the country, highlighting its popularity among SUV enthusiasts.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Powertrain
The Thar Roxx comes with two engine options: the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol or the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel powertrain. Both engines have the option to come mated to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter.
Both manual powertrains produce almost the same power: 160bhp through the diesel and 150bhp from the petrol. Torque figures stand the same on both at 330Nm. On the other hand, the torque converter gearbox on the petrol engine makes 175bhp and 380Nm, while on the diesel engine it makes 171bhp and 370Nm.
The Thar ROXX's record-breaking bookings within an hour of its launch not only demonstrate the model's immense popularity but also Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s strong position in the SUV market.
