Mahindra To Launch Online Bookings For Thar Roxx SUV On 3rd October Amid High Demand

Mahindra will start online bookings for its Thar Roxx SUV on 3rd October 2024. The Thar's 5-door model has already attracted considerable attention, with offline bookings leading to waiting times of up to three months. This demand highlights the SUV's popularity even before online reservations begin.

In cities like New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, customers experience a two-month wait for the Thar. Meanwhile, in Pune, Chennai, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad, the waiting period stretches to three months. These delays are expected to grow once online bookings open.

Production Challenges for Mahindra

Mahindra is known for long waiting periods despite producing many vehicles due to high demand. To address this issue, Mahindra needs to increase production capacity. The Mahindra XUV700 currently has the longest waiting period among its vehicles. With the Thar's popularity, its 5-door version is expected to gain even more customer acceptance.

Customers in India generally dislike long waiting times for vehicles. While many companies offer cars with shorter waits, Mahindra's extended delays could affect its brand image negatively.
