Mahindra has introduced an exciting update for its Thar Roxx 4x4 enthusiasts, adding a new Mocha Brown colour option for the vehicle's interior. This addition is set to offer a fresh choice for customers, alongside the existing Ivory interior, starting October 3, 2024, at 11 am.
The Mocha Brown option, specifically available for the 4x4 variants, aims to provide an alternative for those seeking a different aesthetic without compromising on luxury, as it also features premium leatherette seats and a cohesive colour scheme. This move caters to personal preferences, allowing buyers to tailor their purchase to their style.
The launch of this new interior colour option is a response to feedback from Thar Roxx users. Previously, the model came with an Ivory interior which, despite its premium look, was prone to getting dirty quite easily. The addition of the Mocha Brown interior aims to address this concern, offering a choice that might better conceal dirt and wear, making it a practical update for the rugged vehicle.
Personalizing the Thar Roxx
Upon reservation, buyers can now select between the Ivory or the newly introduced Mocha Brown interiors, thus personalizing their Thar Roxx to their liking. This choice is made available at no extra cost, demonstrating Mahindra's commitment to offering customizable options to its customers. The first deliveries of the Thar Roxx with Ivory interiors are set for October 2024, while those opting for the Mocha Brown interior will have to wait until the end of January 2025.
Variants and Pricing Details
The Thar Roxx is being offered in six variants, with the MX1, MX3, AX3L, MX5, AX5L, and AX7L on the list. The AX3L model comes exclusively with a diesel engine and manual transmission, while the AX5L variant also features a diesel engine but is coupled with an automatic transmission.
The rest of the lineup includes petrol engines, with four-wheel drive (4WD) options starting from the MX5 variant upwards. It is noteworthy that the 4WD variants are not available with a petrol engine option.
The pricing for the Mahindra Thar Roxx starts at ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹22.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end models. This range makes it an attractive option for those in the market for a versatile and robust SUV.
